Model Description

ALL TERRAIN, ALL THE TIME

Imagine this: Your KTM 690 ENDURO R grumbles with the rising revs as suburbia slowly disappears behind you. Upfront, a bright LED beam lights the way into the early morning mist as you hurtle toward the next dirt track. The next moment, you’re blasting off into the wilderness, transitioning from asphalt to grit effortlessly, without breaking a sweat. That’s the allure of the KTM 690 ENDURO R – versatility beyond boundaries.

Bodywork:
With an ergo triangle specifically designed to cater to everything from fast berms, to casual commutes, the KTM 690 ENDURO R boasts aggressive, offroad-ready bodywork. This has been perfectly styled to allow for easy transitions between riding on the street to the dirt. The bodywork is also made from proven, flexible, and long-lasting PP plastic material better suited for off-roading and aggressive riding.

Adjustablity:
Finding the perfect setup when attacking your favorite stretch of dirt or twisty mountain pass is easy, thanks to the KTM 690 ENDURO R’s adjustable suspension, brake and clutch levers, and footrests – not to mention a complete PowerPart catalog filled with performance and style enhancing add-ons.

TFT Display & Connectivity:
The 4.2″ TFT dashboard takes prime position ahead of the rider, featuring a unique, specially-designed user interface to suit the compact screen size. Made from bonded glass, the TFT screen also boasts a special coating and polarization to reduce glare and increase visibility in all lighting conditions. Riders can also access music, incoming calls, turn-by-turn navigation, and Ride modes via the dashboard – with a USB-C port for device charging duties.

LED Lighting:
The KTM 690 ENDURO R is equipped with a powerful LED headlight. Not only do these work when the world becomes dark, but they also provide improved visibility when navigating busy traffic or misty road conditions.

Engine:
Welcome to the next generation of the legendary KTM LC4 single-cylinder powerhouse! Still as bulletproof and hard-hitting as ever, but updated with new Clutch and Stator covers, crankcase, an improved oil delivery system, and – most importantly – more performance.

RALLY MODE:
Unlock even more off-road customization and ability with the optional RALLY Mode. Thanks to the 4.2″ TFT display, riders can use RALLY Mode to toggle additional settings. A memory feature is added to the line-up. When the motorcycle is turned off, it remembers your selected Ride Mode and retains this mode once it starts up.

DYNAMIC SLIP ADJUST:
Dynamic Slip Adjust is an all-new feature making is debut on the KTM 690 ENDURO R. Available only in RALLY Mode, Dynamic Slip Adjust automatically balances the allowed wheel slip to the traction in any given situation. To learn more about this feature click HERE.

OFFROAD ABS:
Generally speaking, ABS and dirt don’t play well together. However, that is not the case when it comes to KTM’s proven OFFROAD ABS. In this mode, riders can lock up the rear wheel, giving riders more control in offroad terrain and allowing advanced riders to brake harder before ABS activates. However, should you want to push yoursellf even further. The dedicated ABS-off button allows all ABS to be disabled.

Traction Control:
The KTM 690 ENDURO R is fitted with Cornering MTC and Cornering ABS, which uses the input from the 6D sensor to adapt in cornering situations. The MTC and ABS can also be turned off completely.

Service:
The service intervals have been extended, requiring oil changes every 15,000 km instead of 10,000 km, with valve clearance checks now needed every 30,000 km.

Seat:
The KTM 690 ENDURO R seat does three things. Firstly, it allows fluid rider motion when shredding offroad, thanks to its ergonomic shape and 36.8 in (935 mm) seat height. Secondly, it provides good comfort when you need to cover the ground between trails.

Brakes:
Sublime class-leading BREMBO brakes combined with lightweight wave discs – 300 mm diameter front and 240 mm on the rear wheel – to provide a crucial combination of stopping power and a consistent brake feel.

Front Fork:
The KTM 690 ENDURO R features an adjustable WP XPLOR 48 upside-down fork with a split fork design. This was originally developed by WP and KTM for its championship-winning XC-W models and is fitted with springs on both sides with separate damping functions – compression on the left and rebound on the right-hand side.

Rear Shock:
The WP XPLOR shock absorber is connected to the swingarm by a linkage. This ensures a progressive suspension character and a high resistance to bottoming out. Fully adjustable, including high and low-speed compression, you can set up the shock absorber to any circumstances and rider preference.

Premium Manufacturer’s Warranty:
This motorcycle comes with a PREMIUM MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY. Riders enjoy up to 4 years of coverage; ride worry-free and experience the thrill of KTM with added peace of mind.
